Krista Mannle, Enrolment Services 

Krista Mannle sat down with Brier Albano, associate vice-president, student success, to talk about life at Selkirk College and beyond.

How did you make your way to Selkirk College?

In high school, I did a work experience through the cafeteria and was instantly hired when I got there. I was 16 years old at that time. Previous to this, I worked graduation from the time I was 10 years old to the time I was hired.

Describe one of your favourite Selkirk College moments.

At our 40th anniversary, I got to take a scenic flight on one of our airplanes—one of the instructors took us out around the Castlegar and Trail area.

What's the best advice you have ever received?

Take every day as it comes and enjoy all the little moments.

What is something you enjoy doing outside of work?

Hiking and painting.

My favourite hike is the shoreline from the Syringa boat launch all the way to the end of the Syringa campground.
