Operational Updates

Joceyln Schroeder Named School Chair of Health & Human Services

It is my pleasure to announce that Jocelyn Schroeder has accepted the appointment of School Chair of Health & Human Services.

Jocelyn is a Selkirk College Alumna, graduating from the BSN program in 2011. Following graduation Jocelyn worked as an RN in a number of roles including as a front-line RN in acute and long-term care, as well as stepping into leadership roles such as Clinical Educator and Patient Care Coordinator. Jocelyn started teaching in our BSN program in 2017 and very soon thereafter also took on the role of BSN year 2 facilitator.

Last year Jocelyn completed her MSN from UBCO and was the recipient of the UBC's 3-minute Thesis People's Choice Award.

Jocelyn and I will be working on a transition plan over the coming weeks, which will include introductions to this fantastic group.

Jocelyn, congratulations, we are thrilled to have you in this new role!

Sincerely,

Tammie Clarke

Dean of Health & Human Services and the Teaching & Learning Centre
