As a participant in the 50-30 Challenge, Selkirk College employees have access to exclusive events and workshops on topics related to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

This optional course for the Practitioner’s Path is delivered as part of the UN Global Compact Network Canada's support to 50 - 30 Challenge participants in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. This workshop is a deep-dive into improving cultural competency in the workplace with a focus on dimensions of the cultural development model, intercultural sensitivity training, and sharing strategies to enhance professional communication and respect for cultural diversity. Participants will leave the session with tested strategies to enhance their professional intercultural competence and build capacity for this work at their organizations.
