Instructional Skills Workshop Refill and First Timer Draw

Professional Development Enrolment Encouraged

 

Sign up for the upcoming Instructional Skills Workshop starting mid-December and your name will be entered into the Refill and First Timer Draw. 

Any instructor can enter, and then one instructor with less than 10 years teaching experience and one instructor with more than 10 years of teaching experience will get to attend the course for FREE.

Cost is $495.

Instructional Skills Workshop

Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW 100) - equivalent to PIDP 3220

 

This instructional skills blended course (face-to-face and pre and post online work) will be taught in a fun and challenging environment where you can develop, deliver and get feedback on lesson plans.  You will leave with a written summary of your teaching philosophy, motivational strategies to better engage your students and tips on handling difficult situations in a respectful, professional manner.

This course is open to public, staff and faculty.

This course consists of three face-to-face classes plus pre and post online work for three credits. The end date is January 31, 2018.
