If You Need Assistance, It's Only a Phonecall Away
If you are having any computer access issues including logging in to your computer, accessing your email, MySelkirk, or Moodle, there is now another friendly voice ready to provide you with the service you need.
IT Services is pleased to announce its new IT Password Help Line for all password issues. Service technician Ian Hickingbotham is now available to help resolve any password related issues for both students and staff.
Students on any campus, distance students, faculty and staff working on site and remotely can all call one central number. The IT Password Help Line is available Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Ian can be reached at extension 55255 or directly at 250.304.6500.
In the coming weeks, IT will be adding a 1-800 to this service to allow easy access to all students and staff whether they are located in Kaslo, Kelowna or anywhere across the country.
The ITS Helpdesk at helpdesk.selkirk.ca is still available and our Password Help Line is an additional service designed to complement that existing service with an additional way of getting help for password issues.
IT Services is currently looking at some additional self- serve options to expand the ongoing service outside of the base business hours. The team is committed to providing ongoing service to support the College.
