An Early Alert System To Connect With Students Who Need Help

Helping Students Who Need More Support

Selkirk is committed to  our student's success. Early Alert is our online referral system that enables staff to identify students who are facing challenges in the first few weeks of their courses or programs.

By providing timely intervention, small issues won’t turn into problems. These challenges may include one or more of the following:

  • Personal issues
  • Financial issues
  • Health-related issues
  • Work-related issues
  • Transition issues
  • Academic issues

Contact Early Alert

If you have concerns about a students’ ability to succeed in his or her program, simply fill out the Early Alert Online Referral Form

Students referred will be contacted by e-mail and asked to meet with a member of the Student Access and Support Department. The student will then be connected with appropriate support services or resources.

Program Availability (Jan 3rd - Feb 3rd)

The program is only available for the first five weeks of the fall and winter semsters. At all other times, students may be referred directly to student support services:
