Journeys Taken Promo One

Journeys Taken: Selkirk College - The First 50 Years will be available for sale at the end of April. The 200-page coffee table book traces that first five decades of Selkirk College.

After almost two years of work, the project team of Instructor Takaia Larsen, Communications Coordinator Bob Hall and Graphics & Creative Coordinator Marian Lowe were excited to send the book off to the printers last month. It is expected to arrive back the week before graduation. Journeys Taken will be for sale at the Castlegar Campus Bookstore on April 26 and all other centres shortly after.

Not only will you have the opportunity to bring home this wonderful conversation piece, purchase of the book means you are helping future students achieve their educational dreams. The book retails for $40 and will be available to staff/students for $30. All proceeds from the sale of Journeys Taken will go towards the Selkirk College 50th Anniversary Legacy Award that aims to raise $50,000 for student awards in the next 50 years.
