Finals Are Stressful, But…

Embracing the Exam Season in Castlegar

Students in Doris Hausleitner’s Recreation, Fish & Wildlife 262 class took the edge off test pressure by dressing up for their final in the Castlegar Campus gym.

This is the fourth year the RFW instructor has asked students to take part in dressing up. This year the second year students chose the theme: “tight and bright.”

RFW Finals Dressup

Students in the RFW 262 class dressed up for their final earlier this week in the Castlegar Gym.

“It just an opportunity to lighten the mood,” says Hausleitner. “It helps with the stress.”

The Ecosystem-Based Management course allows students to gain employable skills related to forest health identification, wildlife tree assessment, ecosystem interpretation, ecosystem restoration, and adaptive management.

Exams in all programs run until December 22. The Winter Semester begins on January 4.
