Make A Change Canada Celebrates Ten Years

Selkirk College Staff Invited to Join in Success


Make A Change Canada is extending an invitation to all its colleagues at Selkirk College to attend the 10-Year National Extravaganza on October 8 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Shambhala Music & Performance Hall.

Make A Change Canada and Selkirk College have been working together to deliver the Web Essentials/Web Advanced Program online across Canada since 2005. In 2015 Make A Change is celebrating 10 years of success.

The two-hour event will be held at the Shambhala Music & Performance Hall on the Selkirk College Tenth Street Campus and will feature inspirational videos from graduates, volunteers, staff, partners and supporters of the organization. The performance will be streamed nationally through

The delightful Jenna Raider will host the event and Shane Hainsworth is producer and director. A whole team of volunteers has also working since February of this year to bring the event together.

Through story and song this will be a celebration of people from across Canada overcoming their challenges, and the organizations and people who support them.
