Hit the Road to Shambhala this Summer

Spend a Week Working Behind the Scenes

Organizers of the Shambhala Music Festival are reaching out to Selkirk College, encouraging staff to bring their expertise to the summer music event.

The Shambhala Music Festival Human Resources Department will be set up at the Selkirk College Career Fair on March 5 at the Castlegar Campus. Selkirk College faculty and support staff are being invited to stop by for a chat to explore the opportunities.

Shambles Opportunties

The Shambhala Music Festival draws more than 10,000 to the Salmo River Ranch each summer.

“We guarantee it will be one of the most fascinating work experiences of your life,” says Nicole Seaboyer of the Shambhala HR team. “Feel free to pop down to the Career Fair to apply for a position of simply find out more about the jobs and positions available at this year’s festival.”

Shambhala has plenty of paid and volunteer positions available for this summer’s festival from business and food & beverage to front gate and medical.

“Basically if you can think of a job, we’ve probably got it,” says Seaboyer.

The Shambhala Music Festival takes place this summer between August 7 and 10 on the Salmo River Ranch.

The Career Fair takes place on March 5 in The Pit on the Castlegar Campus between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you are unable to stop by the Shambhala booth, you can find more information on the festival’s website. You can also email Seaboyer with any questions and for a special promo code to bypass the application deposit.
