Student Food Bank Benefits from Tips

Selkirk College Food Services employees are putting money where hungry mouths are.

Over the last year the staff at the Ripple Café (Castlegar Campus), Glacier Café (Silver King Campus), Tenth Street Campus cafeteria and Tenth Street Residence Bistro have been collecting tips at their cash registers for the Selkirk College Student Emergency Food Bank. To date they have donated $400 to help students struggling to make ends meet.
