Looking for Projects that Enhance Learning Experience
Applications are now being accepted for funding allocations under Selkirk College’s Learning Resource Fund.
The fund comes from the Learning Resource Fee applied to student tuition and was established through a student referendum.
The Digital Arts & New Media Program has benefitted from the Learning Resource Fund with a 3D printer.
One half of the annual fund is fixed for computer lab replacement. The other half is made available for lab monitoring and projects that align with the college’s strategic directions, specifically those that enhance the student’s learning experience at Selkirk.
“This is a great opportunity for college staff to look at needs within their department and see how it may be fulfilled through the fund,” says Cathy Mercer, Selkirk College Registrar.
Deadline for applications is May 30. Priority for distribution of the fund is determined by Deans and the Learning Resource Fee Advisory Committee follow this direction.
