John Armstrong's Lengthy College Career Comes to Close

Dedicated Educator's Selkirk College Journey Wraps Up

 

John Armstrong arrived to Selkirk College in 1980 and for almost 34 years he touched many lives. His last official day at the college was February 28, but he will be on the Castlegar Campus on afternoons until March 14.

Armstrong started as an English language teacher in the ABE department in Castlegar and Trail. Over the years he held several different positions including Department Head for Selkirk International. Armstrong's final post was as an English language instructor and TESOL (Teaching English as a Second or Other Language) instructor with Selkirk International.

Between March 3 and 14, Armstrong will be on campus in the afternoons. Colleagues wishing to meet with him can drop by the office in person or contact him by email/phone (ext: 21373).
