Silent Auction Items Will Help Bolster Saints
The team behind this year’s Selkirk College Gala 2014 is gearing up for another great showcase of student talent at the annual event. They are now calling on all staff to lend a hand in enhancing an important element of the annual evening: the silent and live auction.
Over the years, the money raised at Gala has helped students in several different programs bolster their educational experiences. These fundraising opportunities ensure our students receive a quality education that serves them well in the future.
Last year's silent auction coordination fell to the Adult Special Education Program (ASE) students who put together a great offering for those who attended Gala 2013.
This year’s event is themed Gala 2014: Partnerships in Success and we would be grateful to have your support. We are asking employees, departments or schools to help us make this year’s event the best ever by contributing silent or live auction items.
The Selkirk Saints Men’s Hockey team has come on board as the program spearheading this element of the evening. As the driving force behind this year’s silent auction, all proceeds will go towards the operations of the two-time defending British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League champion Saints. We are proud to have this amazing group of young athletes part of the College and part of this important event.
We hope to have all auction items in hand by November 3 in order to assist us with our planning. If you are interested in helping out please contact Selkirk College Donor Services Coordinator Joleen Kinakin at firstname.lastname@example.org or ext 21360 or auction coordinator Stacey Matthews at email@example.com or ext 21238.
You can also contact Kinakin for tickets to the showcase event.
