Great Options for Continuing Education

Take Selkirk College's Summer Survey

Selkirk College’s Community Education and Workplace Training Division has created a survey to solicit program ideas from communities across the region. Selkirk is expanding its program offerings year-round and is looking for suggestions and ideas from residents, or visitors, in Kaslo, Nakusp, Castlegar, Grand Forks, Slocan Valley, Trail, Nelson and the East Shore.

The survey is available below and asks a variety of questions about people’s interests that will lead to program development throughout the year.

Great options for continuing education

The survey is a great way to find out what people are looking for in continuing education and provides them with the opportunity to have input into program development.

Summer programs and beyond

Programs will be developed for the summer in addition to the regular sessions in fall, winter and spring. This opens up great seasonal options in outdoor pursuits, gardening, nature and children’s camps, in addition to indoor options in art and expression, computers, local and area points of interest and health and wellness.

Building on strategic directions

Increasing the number of programs available and inviting the public to provide input builds on Selkirk's strategic directions to increase enrolments, and engage the wider community in learning and developing innovative programs and services.
