Back by popular demand, Professional Cook Training students are taking orders for Stollen Bread for Christmas.

Stollen Bread is a traditional German/Swedish Christmas bread that the Nelson-based program started making a few years ago and it has become very popular with customers asking if they could order it.
“We had a German customer who would come in and buy a few each year and he was from Dresdener where - the Germans say - it was invented,” says Professional Cook Instructor Simon Parr. “He told me that our Stollen was better than he used to get there!”
The Stollen sells out every year so the program is taking pre-orders. All orders need to be received by November 25th and those interested can contact Parr at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The large loaves of bread are $8 for wheat and $11 for spelt.
