CBT Continues To Support Students In Post-Secondary

CBT Board Changing The Award From Entrance to Exit Award

In November 2011, the Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) Board approved changing the College Service Awards from an entrance award to an exit award and confirmed funding at existing levels for three years 2012/13 to 2014/15.

The existing program supports up to ten students per year, at $2,000 for each student who applies for the award and fulfils the eligibility criteria.

A New Bursary Program

The Board also approved a new bursary program. This will provide Selkirk with ten new $1,500 bursaries starting in 2012/13. This too was approved with an initial commitment of funding for three years 2012/13 to 2014/15
