The Grapevine is an internal publication which aims to inform, entertain and help staff feel connected with the college.
It keeps staff informed about new developments, to provide practical information, as well as to interest and inspire them with what people are doing at all levels across the institution. It is produced by the Community Relations Department and is distributed monthly.
New Format For Grapevine
We have a new way to dissemate the Grapevine news to you with a viewable online version. Grapevine will be reduced for summer months.
Contribute To Grapevine/MySelkirk
The Grapevine, and now MySelkirk, is essentially your communication tool. Submissions are encouraged and it's an easy three-step process.
1) Realize your item is worth sharing. Selkirk College is a great place to work. The energy in our classrooms, common spaces, courtyards and offices is something that makes us unique. Whether it's a fresh approach to teaching, a retirement party, interesting accomplishment by a student or anything else worth talking about, it's a story.
2) Send an email. With as much detail and information as possible, email your items and ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org. Photos are always important so don't forget to include images.
3) Sit back and wait for it to be shared. The hard part is the first two steps, this step is easy. Just make sure all timely items get submitted with enough advance time (see schedule below).
