Congratulations to our exceptional Selkirk College instructors!

The Selkirk College Faculty Association (SCFA) Standing Committee On Professional Excellence (SCOPE) committee is pleased to announce the recipients of its awards: Leesa Dean, Jane Green and Tim Thurston.

The College is hosting a small private gathering to celebrate these worthy recipients:

• Thursday, October 29
• 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
• Mir Centre for Peace Arbor, Castlegar Campus

This event has limited attendance. Honourees are welcome to invite up to four guest. Speaches will be photographed and filmed for future sharing. There will be no dinner or drinks this year. 

Attendees, including guest, will fill out the Selkirk College COVID-19 Health Screening.

Says 2020-21 SCOPE Chair Todd Kettner "Thank you to outgoing SCOPE chair Deb Wilson who led us through the delightful process of reading so many letters of support for our great colleagues last school year. And thank you to the SCOPE committee for pulling together a small socially distanced outdoor awards ceremony for the recipients during these restrictive times. If it's sunny and warm, wear your t-shirt and shorts. Otherwise, bring your coats, toques and gloves. If there is precipitation of the wetting or the skiing type, we'll have the shelter of the arbor."
