Instructional Skills Workshop

Strenghten your Teaching Skills

 

Are you looking for help to successfully create lesson plan?

Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW 100) is equivalent to PIDP 3220.

This instructional skills blended course (face-to-face and pre and post online work) will be taught in a fun and challenging environment where you can develop, deliver and get feedback on lesson plans. You will leave with a written summary of your teaching philosophy, motivational strategies to better engage your students and tips on handling difficult situations in a respectful, professional manner.

This course is open to public, staff and faculty.

This course consists of three face-to-face classes plus pre and post online work for three credits.

  • August 13 preliminary meeting from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • August 16 and 17 face-to-face learning.
