Early Alert Support System Opens

Early Alert: An Online Referral System

This system enables instructors to identify students who are facing challenges.

Students referred to Early Alert will be contacted and invited to meet with a member of the Student Access and Support Department. The student will then be connected with appropriate support services or resources.

Early Alert is designed to help students be as successful as possible in their courses or program. Early Alert is not punitive or judgmental and participation is voluntary. Early Alert is completely confidential and will not appear on transcripts.

Students May Need Support for Different Reasons

  • Struggling with coursework
  • Absenteeism
  • Frequent lateness
  • Falling asleep in class
  • Overdue or incomplete assignments
  • Failed assignments or quizzes

During the first five weeks of the fall and winter semesters you can contact Early Alert.
