Tremendous Opportunity for Professional Development
Selkirk College staff are invited to take part in special two-day grant writing workshop that is taking place at the Applied Research & Innovation Centre. The workshop will feature Dr. Dawn McArthur, the head of Research & Technology Development at both the Child & Family Research Institute at UBC and the BC Children's Hospital.
This two-day grant writing workship is for the researcher, grant writer, proposal developer and anyone who has a keen interest. Topics include developing research ideas, mapping the idea, budget development, exploring partnerships and determining feasiblity.
This workshop is free to SCFA, BCGEU, PPWC and Exempt employees. It is sponsored by the SCFA and Common PD.
The workshop takes place on October 26 and 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Applied Research & Innovation Centre (Castlegar Airport).
Fifteen seats are being held for Selkirk College employees. If you are interested then you must pre-register with Tracy King in Community Education & Workplace Training admissions on the Castlegar Campus.
