May 24 - 26: Selkirk's Fine Woodworking Year End Show
Unique and Innovative Woodworks
The students of Fine Woodworking invite the public to their 2013 Year End Show May 24th – 26th. They will be showing their work at the Nelson Trading Company building at 402 Baker Street in Nelson.
The show will include student projects made over the past year including unique and innovative examples of tables, cabinets and other woodworks. Students will be on-hand throughout the weekend to answer questions about their work and talk about their experiences in the program. Come celebrate and witness the efforts of these developing craftspeople.
Show Dates & Times
- Friday May 24th (9:00 am – 9:00 pm)
- Saturday May 25th (9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
- Sunday the 26th (9:00 am – 4:00 pm)
There will be an opening reception on the Friday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Everyone is invited to celebrate and enjoy live music and refreshments.
About Selkirk's Fine Woodworking Program
Selkirk College Fine Woodworking is a unique program where students learn both the creative and the technical skills required to pursue a career in design and fine furniture making. The program boasts many former graduates working as professional crafts people.
