We are again planning Experience Selkirk Day this Thursday May 17, 2012. We are in need of workshops to offer to students in Nelson. This is an awesome recruitment tool for your program.

What is Experience Selkirk Day?

Experience Selkirk Day is an annual recruitment event where high school students are invited to come to Selkirk and experience what it's like to be a college student for a day.

Who attends Experience Selkirk Day?

  • West Kootenay & Boundary high schools 
  • Mainly grade 10 students / Planning 10 classes.
  • Some grade 11’s, fewer grade 12’s 
  • Between 400-450 students attend this event.

Purpose of Experience Selkirk Day?

  • Provide a fun and informative environment where students can learn about Selkirk College program options.
  • Create a positive lasting impression.
