Celebrating 50 Years

Celebrating 50 Years

In September, 1966 Selkirk College opened its doors to a new era of learning in the West Kootenay-Boundary. The province's first regional college created by a referendum embarked on an ambitious mission to transform lives through education and training close to home. Five decades later that mission continues and over the next 16 months the past, present and future will be celebrated.

This space on MySelkirk will provide you with ideas for engaging with your students, information on the planning process and commemorative memorabilia, ways to submit your stories, the resources you need to brand your documents with the 50th look and feel and information on the homecoming weekend in September, 2016.

Explore your options in the left-hand navigation and thank you for helping continue the celebration.
