Meet Kathleen Ayre, Process Documentation Specialist at Selkirk College

Connecting with Staff as Part of the New ERP Team


Kathleen is responsible for gathering information to document business and training processes as well as work flows in consultation with Selkirk College staff.

This information will be critical as Selkirk College launches Project AURORA, an Enterprise Resource Planning platform currently being considered in a joint project between Vancouver Island University and Selkirk College. The primary goal of the process mapping work is to better align the systems and processes of Student Services, the Office of the Registrar, Human Resources, Finance, and other related areas for use within the new ERP system.

Kathleen has been employed by Selkirk College since June of 2016. Growing up, she spent her summers in the Kootenays and after graduating from high school in India, she returned to Canada to take her first year University Transfer courses at Selkirk College. She finished her degree at the University of Toronto with a double major in English and Drama.

Before moving to the Kootenays with her family in 2013, she worked as a Policy Advisor for a not-for-profit dedicated to research and innovation based at the University of British Columbia.
