Transition Begins for Campus Facilitator Position
After 18 months of dedication and contribution to the Tenth Street Campus in the role of Campus Facilitator, Aimie Chernoff is moving onto her dreams and opportunities in the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) field. Chernoff has enrolled in the Fall Semester at Selkirk to get her new adventure started.
"She's done a great job and weill be missed by many," says Campus Manager Holly Shively.
The position will be filled with another warm smile when Christie Popoff takes over effective July 30.
"Christie has been with the college for over 20 years, having worked several positions including custodial, food service worker, mail room, cashier and most recently Castlegar switchboard," says Shively. "Christie is consistently complimented for her friendly and helpful demeanor; her enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the college will make her a great asset to the Tenth Street Campus."
Popoff beings her training on July 23.
