Stacey Matthews Takes on New Role

Changes in the Human Resources Department

 

The Selkirk College Human Resources Department has filled the position of Human Resources Advisor with a college veteran ready to make an impact. Human Resources Director Arleen Gallo’s announcement is below.

The Human Resources Department is pleased to announce that Stacey Matthews is taking on a new role as a Human Resources Advisor.

Stacey has been with the college for almost 10 years. For the last two years she has served college staff and community with the Human Resources Department.

Stacey Matthews New Role

Having previously completed a Human Resources Management Certificate through the University of Manitoba, she has used her time in HR to hone her human resources acumen. She has been one of the driving forces, supporting all areas of the Human Resources Department and become a valuable asset to the HR team. 

Stacey has primarily been the liaison for the PPWC and for the operational managers, worked on the Joint Labour Management Committee, Job Evaluation Committees, and supported multiple initiatives that have assisted in shaping Selkirk College’s future. Prior to starting with Human Resources, Stacey held several roles within the Education & Students division; most notably Executive Assistant to the Vice President. These experiences have provided her with an exceptional skill set to succeed in her new role. Congratulations Stacey!
